The One Horse Tavern

Established in 2007.

The One Horse Tavern lives in an old building that was originally the Gaston Bank in the 1920s. Since the 50s, the building has been home to a tavern of some sort. The interior was renovated in 2006 and The One Horse opened its doors in January of 2007.

Since opening, the owner has added mosaic windows to much of the interior, giving a slight cathedral-like quality during the daytime. A beautiful patio was also added in 2008 to provide a great place for customers to eat outside and enjoy the spring, summer and fall seasons. The bar has really taken off with the local community as well as become a trusted rest stop for wine tourists and other travelers.
